Consensus Pro

Consensus Pro — search 200 million research papers, not the open web

Consensus answers questions using only peer-reviewed scientific literature. Ask “does intermittent fasting improve insulin sensitivity” and instead of blog posts you get the findings from actual studies, each one cited, with an indication of how strongly the evidence supports the claim. Nothing is generated from general web content.

That constraint is the entire value. For a literature review, a thesis chapter or any claim you will have to defend, a general chatbot’s confident answer is a liability. Consensus shows you the papers.

What Consensus Pro does

• Searches 200M+ peer-reviewed papers across every discipline — medicine, psychology, engineering, economics, agriculture
• Consensus Meter — shows at a glance how many studies support, oppose or are uncertain about a claim
• Extracts findings, not abstracts — you get what the study concluded, in one line, per paper
• Unlimited AI credits on Pro — the free plan caps your searches each month
• Study Snapshots — sample size, population, methodology and quality signals for each paper
• GPT-4 powered synthesis — a summary across multiple studies rather than one at a time
• Filter by rigour — restrict to RCTs, meta-analyses, systematic reviews or sample size
• Copy citations in APA, MLA, Chicago and BibTeX
• Ask a specific paper questions directly

Who it suits

• Master’s and PhD students — literature reviews that would take weeks of manual searching
• Medical and health professionals — evidence checks with the study quality visible
• Academics and researchers — mapping the state of a field quickly
• Science journalists — verifying a claim against real papers before publishing
• Anyone writing something that gets peer-reviewed — the citations are the deliverable

Consensus vs the alternatives

Against ChatGPT: ChatGPT can invent plausible-looking citations. Consensus only returns papers that exist, because it searches a real index.

Against Google Scholar: Scholar gives you a list of titles to read. Consensus tells you what each paper found, so you can survey twenty studies in the time it takes to skim two.

Against Perplexity: Perplexity searches the whole web with citations. Consensus searches only peer-reviewed literature. For academic work, the narrower tool is the right one.

Frequently asked questions

Does it give me full paper PDFs? Consensus surfaces findings and links to each source. Access to the full text depends on whether the paper is open access or behind the publisher’s paywall.

Can I trust the findings? Every claim links to a real paper you can verify. Always read the study before citing it in your own work.

Does it cover Arabic-language research? The index is predominantly English-language international literature, which is where most indexed peer review sits.

Do I need an existing Consensus account? Yes. Create a free account at consensus.app first, then give us that email. We activate the plan on the account you already use, so your existing work stays in place.

Will you ask for my password? Never. The account email is all we need. Anyone asking for your password is not DzKeys.

Does it work from Algeria? Yes — that is what this listing is for. Pay in dinars, no foreign card and no international payment method needed.

Can I renew? Yes. Order again before the term ends and we extend the same account.
